How much does a solar system cost?

A typical 4kWp residential system costs between £6,000–£8,000 installed. Battery storage adds £3,000–£5,000. All installations are 0% VAT. We provide fixed pricing — no hidden extras.

How long does installation take?

Most residential solar installations are completed in one to two days depending on system size. We'll confirm the exact timeline when we survey your property.

What is the Smart Export Guarantee (SEG)?

SEG pays you for surplus electricity you export back to the grid. With our MCS-certified installations you're eligible to earn £150–£500 a year depending on your system and energy supplier.

Is my roof suitable for solar?

Most roofs in Bath and Somerset are suitable. South, east and west-facing roofs all work well. We visit every property in person to assess your roof before recommending anything.

Do solar panels work on cloudy days?

Yes — solar panels generate electricity from daylight, not just direct sunshine. UK homes typically generate 70–80% of their potential output even on overcast days.

Can I get finance or spread the cost?
